The story of the gangsters beating the women in Tangshan this week ... has there been any follow-up? Why are women across the country not making a bigger deal of this? Can anyone point me to any good books or research on the apparent inability of Chinese women to leverage their growing wealth and spending power - let alone their ability to raise the country’s fertility rates - to gain stronger political representation?
