There isn't enough room for my bio. But I have a BA in Cultural Anthropology, and an MA in history when I wrote my thesis upon the construction of the historical memory of the "Indian Wars" of the 1850s in my home state of Oregon.

Divided Attention: Writing Historical Crime Fiction
