But yeah, this seems accurate to me. The administration’s rhetoric shifting to the right  will cause the rich’s rhetoric to shift to the right,  which will cause EA’s rhetoric to shift to the right.

(Fingers crossed Thiel, Musk, etc, don’t try to pull EA fully into their orbit, because they’d probably succeed if they really tried.)

Presumably once a more left-wing administration comes back into power they’ll try to shift left again, but it’ll be far less convincing this time.
