Jack Bergman is our congressperson. He has done nothing for the people who live in his district. It is mostly poor and uneducated except for a few spots like Traverse City and university towns in the Upper Peninsula. He came here from elsewhere to run for office. So do not count on anything good happening if he were to become speaker.

I am thrilled that there has been a resurgence of union power as it is the only way to rein in corporate greed. This lesson is clear to anyone who has studied history; it is not subtle.
