it is of course important to seek truth from facts. but there is another truth. I am not sure that we should follow the ccp down this path of history. surely the important thing is the democratic wishes of 24 million people no matter what the history of their arrival in jan 2021. the ccp goes on about the wishes of the people. this is not a matter of the weight of 1.4 billion v 24 million. cf the debates in the uk about Scotland.
