I just wrote something very different from my usual subject matter, but it’s a topic that has bothered me for a long time.
This version of the classic fable hopefully illustrates the line between proper vigilance and paranoia. The basic concepts is this: What if the boy who cried wolf wasn’t a liar, but a paranoid sensationalist?
