I don’t believe our current predicament is based on a preference for socialism or communism. What we have is a society that now sees the current system has failed. The globalist, capitalist system hollowed out America. We now have what appears to be an oligarchy led system of corruption. Both parties want roughly the same thing. To be paid by their benefactor donors. The system, as designed by our forefathers has failed. So the people will grasp for solutions where allowed. There is only one solution. That is a complete overhaul of our campaign finance system. Defund politics so that representatives actually vote for what is best for their constituents. Pass regulations that open markets, encourage bidding, eliminate monopoly, and allow for most to participate in the fruits of our economic system. Then maybe, we have a chance.
