U.S. Place of Death data for mid-March thru end of May, 2019 v 2020

The biggest increase was in deaths at HOME, followed by HOSPITAL, and then NURSING HOME/CARE FACILITY.

Hospice facility took a dive and Dead on Arrival (to hospital) stayed flat.

To my knowledge, there is no data source that shows the total number of nursing home residents who died in “wave 1,” regardless of whether they died in the hospital or at the nursing facility.

Big problem.
