2023 New York Jets Outlook (5/15)
With an improving defense and a new star quarterback (Aaron Rodgers), the playoffs aren’t a reality, the postseason is a must. New York has a developing stud running back (Breece Hall) and wide receiver (Garrett Wilson), creating a potential high scoring offense.
The spring reports look positive on the recovery of Hall’s knee, pointing to him being ready for Week 1. His projection could be much higher if New York gives him the full load out of the gate. I tempered some of his September snaps until the Jets give more insight on his role.
Wilson will soar under Rodgers while Corey Davis and Allen Lazard compete for the Jets’ WR2 opportunity. My first look gives Davis the inside track if he stays healthy.
