2023 Baltimore Ravens Outlook (5/17)

The Ravens locked up Lamar Jackson in the offseason to give them the best chance to win games and compete for a Super Bowl run. Last season, Baltimore played without their best running backs and top wide receiver most of the year, plus Jackson missed five games. Mark Andrews played through injuries over the second half of the year.

The Ravens want to run the ball and control the clock, but they showed a passing uptick in 2021, pointing to Jackson having more chances to throw this year. Baltimore improved their wide receiver options in the offseason, and they continue to have top talent at the tight end position.

The most significant challenge when diving up the passing pie is whether Baltimore will use their secondary wideout this season over their second and third tight ends. This quandary sets the foundation of chances for Odell Beckham and Zay Flowers over the Isaiah Likely/Charlie Kolar combo.
