Labour's Burnham honeymoon is in full swing. Every paper, every broadcast. The latest establishment figure anointed as the saviour. We've seen this movie before, the bubble always bursts.
It bursts faster if Burnham loses Makerfield. It bursts slower if he wins and then governs like every other recent PM, managing decline, not reinvesting to make up for the cuts, delivering too little too late.
Either way, it bursts.
10% is a floor not a ceiling. We have record membership, record councillors, 4 MPs, we're in the Senedd and Holyrood and a policy platform that none of the other parties can match or credibly imitate. We keep building. 2027 locals. General Election. The country hasn't caught up yet. It will.
