I appreciate this discussion. With a free market monetary system, what you say about price discovery is exactly correct. I’m cynical though and truly don’t believe they would allow for stabilization to occur. They would rig the markets, I wouldn’t be surprised if they already have. Then if that didn’t work, they would pass laws. The vast majority of people can’t move out of the country. The government would resort to making it harder/illegal even to move large amounts of capital out of the country. I find this to be a fascinating discussion.
