I've been thinking though ... I think your covid restrictions were pretty much as tyrannical as ours - more so in some areas ... Would people really use the guns to gain back their freedom if they were falsely frightened into compliance as happened with covid? In interviews during the Nuremberg trials, Goering, one of the Nazi war criminals said “voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.” Obviously this was not about being attacked by an illness but it is still rather chilling in the context of covid and how easily people allowed their freedom to be taken away.
