UNPOPULAR OPINION: I don’t want to read about substack growth hacks and strategies. Such verbiage reminds me of the “business coaches” on Instagram.

I want to read your poetry. Your stories about life. About community. About daring to take a chance on your dreams. About culture. A little bit about politics. About the kindness of your neighbor. Your kids teacher. The doctor who did your knee surgery. I want to easy pieces on here that remind us of our shared humanity.

Oaxaca on film. Mexico is beautiful!

as i predicted, culinary school is making a veg head out of me. last night we had a first: bean soup and it was a total throw together recipe that literally anyone can make, enjoy, and surprise yourself and your families with. it’s really tonally brown so subbing black beans for white or kidney may make it a little more appealing but also fuck that. brown is beautiful and brown food isn’t any less tasty

i don’t do numbers so (thank goodness honest ppl do, i.e Carla) but what i do know is, as long as these videos exist for the public: the adCENTS will trickle and i belie…

I put out a YouTube video every week, costing me $14,000 per month, plus groceries. (My time is not included in that figure.) Average monthly earnings from Google ads? Brace yourself.
