I really had to laugh when I saw this particular graphic from Heat-Related Mortality in Germany From 1992 to 2021 aerzteblatt.de/int/archive/article/2259… This report from Ärtzteblatt (which RKI links to in it’s “Weekly Report on Heat-Related Mortality”) shows heat-related mortality (deaths per 100 000 population) in the period 2018–2021, stratified by region and age group. Steadily falling across Germany 2018→2021. BUT 2022 saw an uptick and now we have public health heat hysteria.
