Architect of beautiful spaces, inside out

I know there is a large community here alive to systems collapse theory. I’m serialising my next book on the subject. These first two chapters are free. I’d love your thoughts if you’re another voice in this space.

The first two chapters of my book: Hope and Relief

I want to walk from x, Instagram and Facebook, in part as protest, in part because the grift, snark and lack of discerning thought is too dispiriting. Do people feel Substack notes cuts it as a replacement?

I like your instagram posts so they would be missed . I also know from at least 2 substacks I subscribe to, the snarks are also appearing there in the comments. It's really your decision to make and I respect your views.

Talk about late to the party!!

I kept seeing things you post popping up in my notifications but when I went to substack I couldn’t see the post.

This time I was determined to find it.

Notes. Duh. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh well.

Now I know.

I do! - to a certain extent. I think it depends on what you're after. If it's meaningful conversation and a feeling of meeting and making friends at the office watercooler, this is a really excellent place to hang out.

But if it's about reaching a lot of people who have never seen any of your work, aka. marketing, I think it's still limited compared to those bigger but crueler & noisier places. I'm actually having a lot of fun on Threads, the new Meta Twitter-like, and the general tone on there…

I want to leave Instagram badly, but the vast global access, especially to oppressed voices, is hard to walk away from. Discernment is so required, which is also hard because it’s a machine that aims to make you mindlessly scroll. I’ve struggled with this since its inception!

I’m new here but so far finding it much more pleasant than IG. Especially since meta has been on a censorship spree

Yesterday, I got a new paid subscriber and for a brief moment, I was really excited. 24 paid subscribers! So close to 25. And maybe, just maybe, I can start turning this into a real source of income which I very badly need.

A little later that evening, I noticed 2 new comments on paid posts. My new paid subscriber.

Turns out, this person is not new to me.

He is someone who used to stalk me when I was teaching yoga in the DC area. He started coming to my classes when I was a brand new teacher, in m…

When I started practicing medicine I thought things like diet, lifestyle, stress, nervous system dysregulation, environmental toxins & nutrient deficiencies were the root cause of disease. I ran extensive lab work on patients to identify suboptimal lab values & inflammatory markers. I thought this was the way to address the root cause. A…
