Fog of War in fully onchain games - this is a mechanism / gameplay introduced in strategy games where you don’t want gamers to know the complete state of the world. It brings incompleteness and randomness to the game. Imagine if you were setting up a plan of action for a territory in the game. If you knew 100% information about your opponent, you would improve your attack strategy. This way you would have won the battle but the game itself would be far less fun to play.

Dark Forest is the 1st onchain game to use FoG and they used zkps (SNARKs in Circom) to create FoG mechanism.
