I don't like the way this is worded. I have no desire to see our puppet government "debate" handing the country over, I want prevented. I have no faith that any elected members in the house would muster any resistance even if they wanted to. I'm not even convinced that if the petition goes through, that it would even slow down adoption of the IHR. If anything, this sounds like a way to accelerate it, but blame the people for the speed up.
It may not have been intended that way, but that's how I read it.
“ We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to urgently allow Parliament the opportunity to debate and vote on the amendments to the IHRs”
