every time I see one of these map projections that feature all that water and thousands of islands, I cringe. This is why, honestly, truly, the Navy should be developing modern AIRSHIPS even the most basic bloody worthless blimp is twice as fast as a surface marine vessel, still doesn't need any runway to operate from, has virtually unlimited range and linger capability...........and that's 19th century tech.
