Idaho Has an Illegal Alien Simp Problem. It's time to make law and order great again. By Brian Lenney - Nampa's Senator (04/28/25)
ED NOTE: For those who don't know the term "Simp," the headline could be rewritten as “Idaho Has an Illegal Alien Sympathizer Problem”Senator Lenney offers kudos to Owyhee County Sheriff Larry Kendrick for enrolling in ICE’s 287(g) program to enforce immigration law. He offered criticism to establishment Republicans (not named) who sympathize with illegal workers and choose Big Ag interests over those of ordinary citizens.
Senator Lenney is a strong proponent of:
Strict laws regarding illegal immigration
E-Verify to ensure only those here legally can work in the US
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) 287(g) program to enforce immigration law (see References below)
Sen. Lenney generally describes several good illegal immigration bills that were either killed or sat in the chairman’s drawer in 2025. He also mentioned one bill that passed — H0083 - Immigration, illegal entry — as a “feel good” bill that won’t do much to solve the problem.
Senator Lenney concludes his article with strong words:
The legislature’s willingness to be RUN BY BIG AG LOBBY GROUPS are why we’re stuck in this mess.

In a state DOMINATED by Republicans, we still act like Dems in this area (and others). Crazy, right? It’s time to clean house in 2026 and replace every single enabler of this chaos with leaders who will fight for Idaho.
