The Constitution Party is strengthening in Idaho. CP-Idaho members met recently in Meridian to select their presidential candidate and party leaders and to approve the bylaws. Officers and Nov. 5 ballot candidates are listed below.

CP-Idaho Officers:

• Chairman: Tony Ullrich

• CP-Idaho Vice Chairwoman: Miste Karlfeldt

• CP-Idaho Secretary: Sarah Clendenon

CP-Idaho Candidates for Nov 5, 2024 Ballot:

• US President: Joel Skousen

• U.S. Rep. (District 1): Brendan J. Gomez

• U.S. Rep. (District 2): Idaho Law - Carta Sierra

• State Rep. (District 8B): Tony Ullrich

• State Senator (District 14): Kirsten Faith Richardson

• State Rep. (District 21B): Daniel S. Weston

• State Senator (District 23): Paul Smith

• Ada County Sheriff: Douglas Traubel

Please vote Principle over Party in the November 5 General Election. For example, if you are a Republican, consider casting your vote for a Constitutional Party or Independent candidate if he or she is more principled than the Republican opposition.

Having an “R” after one’s name does not guarantee a conservative or principled approach! In Idaho, especially, many “R” Republican legislators often are philosophically closer to and vote with Democrats; but these less-principled people know they must be an “R” to win elections so they claim Republican affiliation.
