Research shows that fluoride can be neurotoxic (bad for the brain), especially in newborns and infants, along with other negative effects.
The current standards for fluoride in water are too high and do not consider such important things as how much water a person drinks, whether the person lives in a hot climate, other flouride-containing substances being ingested via toothpaste, mouthwash, and supplements.
Other treatments are available for creating strong teeth and reducing cavities including reduced sugar in the diet, sunshine, vitamin D.
