Idaho Attorney General Raul Labrador filed a lawsuit alleging that Prop 1 organizers fraudulently gathered signatures and misled the public on what Prop 1 would do. Labrador filed the lawsuit in District Court after the Idaho Supreme Court dismissed it on procedural grounds.

District Court Judge Patrick Miller just dismissed the lawsuit saying Labrador did not provide evidence that Prop 1 organizers “Idahoans for Open Primaries” had committed fraud.

AG Labrador expressed his disappointment in this ruling but stated that the legal challenge has raised awareness about the true nature of the initiative.

ED NOTE

This scheme of Open Primaries (Jungle Primaries) and Ranked Choice Voting has been a disaster wherever it has been tried. Alaska, for example, is trying to repeal its Prop 1 style voting.

We must redouble our efforts to thwart Proposition 1. The campaign for it — led by Harris/Walz supporting leftists who aren’t even from Idaho — has been misleading voters without providing the facts.
