Top Media Outlet Killed My Piece Praising "Make America Healthy Again" Coalition After Editorial Board Lambasted RFK Jr. A view from the inside: how the corrupt media machine sinisterly operates. No dissent permitted, period. By Rav Arora (11/22/24)
Rav Arora is a widely published journalist who just can’t catch a break in today’s censorship industrial complex of mainstream (legacy) media.
He wrote:
Last week, I was on the path to publishing a piece in a major legacy media outlet—a name all of you would instantly recognize—about Trump’s bold appointment of RFK Jr. as head of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
For weeks, I had been in discussions with an editor about publishing this article, which argued that Trump appears to be genuinely signaling toward transformative health policy reform.
I also highlighted how RFK Jr.'s alliance with Trump has revived critical conversations about health in the political mainstream—a much-needed shift for an increasingly ailing American public.
So, What Happened?
After submitting the piece by deadline, his editor sent him a terse email:
“Appears we don’t approve.” She linked to a new editorial board piece labeling RFK Jr. a “fringe conspiracy theorist” likely to harm public health. Her follow-up message read, “We have come out aggressively against Kennedy.”
So, just like that. After extensive article development, self-censorship, and editor-requested revisions, Arora’s piece was dead-before-arrival.
Why Should We Put Up with Censorship?
Legacy media is firing or severely cutting salaries for their “talent.” They also are likely to see fire-sale prices for their properties as slowly awakening audiences realize they’ve been denied the truth and flock to other platforms. If their advertiser masters don’t have viewers or buyers for their own products, they may need to stop working the puppet strings that control what is said and done on legacy platforms.
Arora refuses to name the editors or publications that censored him. Perhaps he hopes to salvage a future relationship by protecting them. After all, they’ve provided his bread-and-butter for many years.
But producer and director Robby Starbuck has taken a different tack. He is exposing or threatening to expose large companies — including Tractor Supply, John Deere, Harley Davidson, Polaris, Indian Motorcycle, Lowe’s, Ford, Coors, Stanley Black & Decker, Dewalt, Craftsman, Caterpillar, Toyota & Lexus, Boeing, and Walmart — for their Marxist Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) policies.
The result? These companies have backed off DEI policies, opting instead for pre-DEI common sense and rational business practices. We’re betting these companies will see better sales as previously offended customers slowly regain trust and return to the fold.
ED NOTE
Substack, X, and a few other alternative media are about the only places you can avoid censorship of accurate and often lifesaving information, especially relating to climate change, health, and especially Big Pharma.
We urge writers and speakers to NOT self-censor if they are telling the truth. Be respectful. Be accurate. Ask good questions. Research carefully. Avoid ad hominem attacks. But speak and write your mind.
If we don’t exercise free speech, that muscle will become flaccid and everyone’s freedom to speak and to hear that speech will die.
We urge consumers to ignore the "Main Stream" and flock to the "Truth Stream" that’s flowing in places you may not be looking. All free people must stand up to censorship, and one of the best ways to do that is to vote with our eyeballs and our wallets.
