What is life like before and after Communism and mass murder of citizens? Switter tells us as only Switter can in this story about Azerbaijan, scrounging for apples, and trying to survive in post-Soviet circumstances.

Switter concludes:

Maybe someday the human race will finally shake off the envy-driven vision of Karl Marx and we will all be better for it. Maybe we will stop believing that it is only a matter of finding the Right People (which sounds messianic to me) to do Communism or Socialism “right.” After over a hundred million deaths because of the dream of “doing it right,” it’s well past time to acknowledge that it can’t be done “right.”

Here are some other things in recent memory that have been done for the “greater good” with horrific results (and gifts that keep on giving).

• Global Climate Change Policies: Green energy (solar, wind), weather engineering in all its incarnations

• Covid Countermeasures: Mass vaccinations, lockdowns, business shutdowns, church closures / property confiscation, social distancing, quarantines, censorship, no early treatments allowed, hospital “protocols”, medical board sham trials, and so much more

• Censorship of so-called Misinformation, Disinformation, Malinformation (all of which can turn out to be true)

• Unchecked Illegal Migration

• Forever Wars

All these have injured, killed, and impoverished millions, perhaps billions.

We must open our eyes, speak out, and NOT comply when anyone tells us that something is for the “Greater Good.” Always ask “Who benefits?” Chances are, it isn’t YOU!
