Homesteading 101: Regenerative Farming and the American Farmer. Our heritage deserves celebrating. By Robert W Malone MD, MS (12/18/24)
Please don’t miss this ode to farming the old fashioned way — working hard; choosing plants and animals wisely; raising Percheron draft horses and fancy Lusitanos, turkeys, chickens, ducks, fruits, and vegetables; enriching the soil; loving the land and each other; learning from others (like the Amish) who cherish traditional American farming; and creating a beautiful life for all who depend on the Earth for sustenance.
Learn how the Malones built several gorgeous and highly productive farms from scratch, with little money and lots of grit and determination. Although we can’t all create farms and buildings from scratch like the Malones did, we can do “something” on a small plot or even a tiny pot. Most important, we can appreciate and support those who thrive without poison from Big Ag and government edicts.
This Homesteading column is a wonderful holiday gift from the Malones to their readers. Read the words, revel in the photos, and enjoy the short video.
Happy Holidays — Christmas, Chanukah, New Years, and more.
