What most of these sanitized, rather 'economic' framed discussions about birthrates overlook is that it is not about labor productivity to make stuff - or get taxed enough to pay for grandpas next hip replacement, but rather the soul of a people that is lost when those people are broken from their own story, their legacy and their posterity. TPTB have already destroyed much of who we are through demonizing and revising our history and culture into a morass of moral indictments and perpetual sin and so it makes sense that they would then target our posterity. Instead of "a twinkle in your father's eye" we have "stay safe".
