Very good points, but the last point may need some qualification in light of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act from last December. The other sanctions have been more symbolic, but depending on how this one is carried out, I'm seeing some potential for deeper decoupling. I base this on the flurry of calls for moderation from folks like Yan Xuetong. And of course countries like Australia are moving away. The question for me is how quickly we can plug them into a new framework for prosperity.
