I just started following

’s Substack and stumbled on this quote about exaggerating or amplifying a motor skill technique error as a practice strategy for correcting it.

I’m curious about this and eager to experiment with my ‘upright problem’ when I try to get over big boulders or logs with better form.

Is anyone else curious about this ‘amplification of error’ technique?

“‘Amplifying mistakes’ may seem counter productive but it’s an extremely useful tool for coaches to use if a player keeps making the same mistake.”
