My first landing in Alaska was in August 1950 at Elmendorf AFB. I had many landings at Merrill Field from 1960 until 2010. Joe Wilbur and I operated “Wilbur’s for 35 years” and sold it 1995. We retired to our ski cabin in Girdwood.
