Been talking with writer friends lately about how/why things have shifted over the last decade and a big one was going from feeling like everyone was reading and sharing each other’s work to now everyone (“everyone”) only ever sharing or promoting our own work (hyperbole etc blah blah blah). Never considered the UX/functionality of it all but it definitely feels like a part of it.
