Call it what you will. I still feel "A Plague Chronicle" is still relevant since our western democracies are still plagued by the notions and poorly constructed policies of self-appointed oracles and elected political hacks. It may be said of both these groups that their collective and individual intelligence is often exceeded by that of the so called "common man".
