i think this was conventional wisdom but has reversed with the indie sleaze revival.. in queer brooklyn the current moment is nipples galore, body-as-outfit slutmaxxing, but of course that’s a very insular demographic lol.

i also have a theory that trans women are comfortable dressing like this because we weren’t exposed to the intense body shame inherent to girlhood
