I'm white, passionate about jazz and I have no hangups on style. Lester Young was most of what I really dug. I played tenor and baritone -- all badly -- so Pres, Bean, Illinois Jacquet, Jaws, Getz, Zoot, Gerry Mulligan, et al were my heroes.
