Several big moves happening right now in our civilizational paroxysm. I’ve alluded many times in this column to the fact that the tools for a decentralized world have existed for a while, and they just need to be put together in the right way.

This week, as the FCC is trying to seize unaccountable control of the entire commerce and speech infrastructure of the United States (which I wrote about here a couple days ago: hollymathnerd.substack.com/p/a-most-use… ), Jordan Hall—who is, in my estimation, the single most astute thinker of the current era—explains how the terror of digital identity and social credit might be snatched from the teeth of the Leviathan.
