SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WKEF) -- A local school district has closed abruptly during the first week of the new year due to a lack of bus drivers.
Clark-Shawnee Schools posted on social media Tuesday evening that the school will be closed on Wednesday, January 3, due to staffing shortages in the transportation department.
According to the social media post, multiple employees had called in sick, causing the school cancellation.
The school attempted to adjustment bus routes, but was unable to adequately do so.
