Oh no, I’m about to download 100 coffee apps.

James Hoffman, who I trust completely on all things coffee, just published a really good rundown of coffee apps. Which are a thing! Anyone want to buy TikTok?

On this episode of The Vergecast: the $100 billion sale coming soon, the Rabbit R1, Tesla earnings, and more.

A morning with the Rabbit R1: a fun, funky, unfinished AI gadget

What it does, the R1 seems to do well enough — with some typical AI quirks. But where are all the features we were promised?

He cited “personal reasons” for leaving in a note to staff, but also has a new job: after working on the joint betting project between ESPN and Penn Entertainment, he’s Penn’s new CTO.
