ate here in January for dinner. The food was pretty good. The service was good. The food was good. Place was clean and modern. Plenty of parking. Are here yesterday for lunch. Pretty much across the board the food was old and terrible. Recommend only eating dinner here.

I had a very bad experience my first visit right after they opened. I stayed away, preferring another buffet down the road. However, after a couple of not so great experiences there, I decided to give Hibachi Grill & Supreme buffet a try again. Glad I did.
They have a hibachi station which was pretty good. They do the saucing for you so all I added myself was some red chile oil. Their selection is not as large as some other hibachi buffets, but the quality of the ingredients was good and they leave the food in large chunks rather than chop it fine like some do. I especially liked the char on the meats and the egg.
They have a selection of soups, 5 to 7 at a time. The seafood soup is really good and the mussel soup is another winner. The dim sum selection is small. Most of the fried food is well prepared, not too greasy. They have some stir fry seafood including what they bill as stone crab which are very hard to open without a seafood cracker bu the meat I was able to pry out was tasty. Fried shrimp w/saltand pepper is also good. The sushi selection again is small but tasty. The rice was good. The salad bar has good quality ingredients but again a limited selection. Their cold prepared salads like octopus & veggies in spicy sauce, the marinated bean salads, the beets are all a step up from typical buffets. Desserts are pretty standard.
Service is pleasant and they keep your beverages full.
The price is under $10 at lunch and a good value.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Dec 15, 2018Previous reviewSorry to see the quirky Hokkaido Seafood Buffet go. This is a disapointing replacement. Everything cooked tasted salty and so full of msg to be a dominant flavor. The hibachi grill had a limited selection.
With Golden nearby, hard to see coming back. - Raymark G.Falls Church, VA4502858Jan 26, 2020
This is one of two buffets I have visited in the NoVA area (the other one being in Alexandria) and it's honestly very worth for the price - I think it's around $15 per person. I wasn't paying attention if it was dinner price all day since it was Lunar New Year.
We went during lunchtime a little after opening so it wasn't that busy but people definitely started filing in as the time rolled on. They had a nice selection of food ranging from sushi, to hibachi,to pho, and a whole array of desserts! Personally, I only had the sushi, a handful of food items from the main serving area, and different desserts. I definitely would recommend this place!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mahajabeen N.Arlington, VA34157Jan 6, 2020
$9.99 buffet with so much food. Seafood sushi soup and everything that u can enjoy. Came here with my in laws and husband. Everyone enjoyed the food. They do need better service tho. I had to get the waitresses attention all 5 times we needed.

Solid Asian seafood buffet that serves sushi rolls, deep fried crab, shrimp, fish and other dishes. Lunch is only $10 (excluding soda). At dinner it costs a bit more but offers a few other options including oysters and crawfish.
People need to understand that this isn't a fine dining seafood establishment. For this price point, it would be hard to beat this place. Service is good as the servers clear the dirty plates almost immediately and they are friendly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Charles T.Sully Station, Sully Station, VA24Dec 15, 2019
Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet gives off the same initial feeling as any stereotypical buffet. They combine Japanese, Chinese, and American cuisine into an all you can eat occasion. Unfortunately, their American-oriented foods (french fries, pizza, garlic bread) are mediocre in taste. If you plan on going to this establishment, I'd recommend delving into their more specialized Chinese and Japanese dishes. Their sushi is palatable and their Chinese platters are even more unique -- chicken feet, stuffed crab, clams, crawfish, etc. These delicacies were my biggest takeaway from the restaurant.. and they were delicious. If this type of Chinese food is a little out of your avenue, they still provide many of the typical Chinese dishes such as General Tso's chicken and Lo Mein.
The service was solid. The establishment was clean overall and was presentable for a comfortable, yet casual dinner.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amy Z.North Haven, CT0210Dec 9, 2019

Solid Asian buffet. Lots of variety of foods to eat. I was a little disappointed that they had a dim sum sign with no dim sum to show for it. However, their galbi is absolutely delicious. I would come again just for that.

Wow so much great quality things available to eat here. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. Lol, from the hibachi station where you can pick and choose your own ingredients and they grill up the perfect hibachi for you. To the seafood options. And I'm let's not forget the variety of sushi roll and sashimi options that are constantly made right in clear view as you grab your portions. I've only been once so I'm sure I overlooked other things they have (im allergic to shellfish). I'll leave another review my next visit. But so far, I was impressed. There was For the price range and options/quality. (Being nonorganic, etc) a solid 3.3 stars.
