The Young Family

Hello,

My name is Sarah and I am raising funds for my niece, Randi, and her wonderful family.

Randi has just been diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma. She is 32 years old. They have found tumors in her brain, spine, stomach, liver and hips. Doctors have told her that it is not curable but that treatment may help to extend her life for about a year.

As you can imagine her families lives have been absolutely turned upside down.

Randi and her husband of 11 years share their 8 year old son Jackson and her 17 year old stepson Atreyu.

Randi and Nick have a love story for the ages. Although they were very young, they knew immediately that they were meant to be together and despite being told it was a huge mistake, were married shortly after meeting and have been by each others side ever since.

Jackson is a bright young man who was just accepted into the GT (gifted and talented) program at his school, with IQ testing so high they didn't even require an application. This young mans future is looking so bright and now he is faced with losing his mother.

Life has not been easy for them, financially or otherwise, but they have overcome many obstacles and have used their deep love for each other to build a wonderful life together.

They are going to need significant financial help with medical bills and everyday life in order to keep afloat while Randi undergoes aggressive cancer treatment.

This beautiful family deserves to spend every second of whatever time they have left together without the burden of money.

Anything you can give would be a step towards allowing them the comfort of being able to just be present with each other in this time of true heartache.
