Rollover crash in Raleigh County injures school bus driver, dispatchers say

SOPHIA, W.Va. (WCHS) — A rollover crash in Raleigh County injured a school bus driver Friday morning, emergency dispatchers said.

The incident was reported shortly after 7 a.m. in the 1100 block of West Main Street in Sophia, according to a social media post from the Coal City Volunteer Fire Department.

The post said Sophia police and fire crews, along with JanCare Ambulance assisted on scene.

Dispatchers told Eyewitness News no students were on the bus at the time of the crash.

The condition of the injured driver was not immediately available.
