Startups, ecommerce firms likely to go slow on campus hiring

Campus hiring from the class of 2023 by startups and ecommerce companies is likely to see some pullback compared to last year’s highs, amid a slowdown in the pace of funding, focus on profitability, a spate of recent layoffs as well as general caution, and belt-tightening measures put in place by most companies.ET reached out to over a dozen recruiters from the ecosystem on their campus hiring plans.
