BettingJobs are working with a dynamic and rapidly growing sportsbook dedicated to providing an unparalleled betting experience. They are looking to add a Country Manager Mexico to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the company’s primary point of contact for all Mexico stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, business partners, and local communities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to organise local marketing campaigns to enhance brand presence in Mexico.
• Compile and manage the annual Online Sports Betting operating and capex budgets.
• Managing local team, holding the key leadership position.
• Recruit and manage relationships with local affiliates, optimising partnerships for mutual success.
• Defining and understanding customer needs, acting as the key stakeholder for product localisation. Working closely with product team to improve product localization and ensuring alignment with local preferences and regulations.
• Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to monitor position in the market and find opportunities for enhancement market share.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in online gambling operations in Mexico.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a managerial or leadership role.
• Detailed knowledge of the local market, competitors, regulatory framework, licensing requirements, reporting.
• Understanding of Mexican Labour and Gaming Law.
• Excellent English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
• Ability to prepare, understand and analyse business strategies, financial statements and business plans to drive results.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Proven managerial, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills and strong report writing ability.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement within established policies.
