Please Help our Brother in Iron

Peyton Wooten, 28 years old, was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic melanoma cancer on March 2, 2023.  He was able to receive one round of immunotherapy, a type of chemotherapy, before being admitted to the ICU on April 7, 2023.

It has been determined that the cancer has spread rapidly moving from his lymph node to his lungs, liver and kidneys as well as bones and soft tissue.    As of today, April 12, his kidneys are not balancing out and the breathing treatments did not work, he is on full life support.  In the next few days, his wife Angie, along with his medical team, will have some tough choices to make.

If you know Peyton, you know he is a massive individual standing at 6’6” 330 pounds.  He is a quiet, introverted guy that loves to train, his only friends are extroverts that have adopted him and give him no choice but to be friends!!   He has set powerlifting records in the USPA with a Squat of 744 pounds and deadlift 821 pounds.

What you might not know about Peyton is that he has one of the biggest, most caring hearts around.  He loves his wife Angie more than anything in the world.  For the last 6 years she has been his best friend and training partner.  Peyton has 3 step-sons and 2 daughter in-laws (all his age) who love him very much, but the little girl that has him wrapped around her finger is his 2 year old granddaughter, Evelyn.

Peyton and his wife Angie could really use our help right now. The outlook is grim, so they’re looking at both medical expenses and final expenses unless some unforeseen miracle takes place. Unfortunately, the medical staff is being very realistic about that miracle being very unlikely. Please, let’s show the community how we look out for each other. Any amount is appreciated and will go a long way to take at least some of the misery and hurt away from this tragic situation. Thank you.
