I saw the following post on this website. I didn't know about that tweet by Lisa. I am very disappointed by that tweet. As her senior colleague, I was one of the staunchest supporters of her tenure case. A few of my colleagues didn't like her. I fought them and supported her as I thought they were mildly racist. I still think her research is undervalued by the profession and her tenure should not be judged on top 5 publications. We all know that top 5 is biased against certain research areas. I support her research as it's important work. What upsets me is the tweet and the allegations of racism.

Lisa (1) deceived about having an AER when she has a non-refereed AER P&P (2) deceived about when she got her PhD (in 1997), had a longer tenure clock post PhD than other colleagues (3) has a worse pub record than an assistant prof. and was tenured with a worse pub record than other colleagues (4) but is calling all of her colleagues racist for not promoting her to full. How is this not discrimination IN FAVOR OF her?
