At the end of the day he'll learn nothing because he's not open to the truth. The truth requires the unlearning of just about everything that we've been taught.

You may have told him the truth, but that's too much of a leap for the people at his stage of the learning process. He was raised on media education like most people, ... it's easy to turn on the TV and regurgitate narratives that you hear amongst your varying circles. It's much more difficult and time-consuming to go and look into things yourself.

Interestingly, speaking for myself, and presumably you similarly and implicitly, I once believed what he believes. I had ears to hear with and eyes to see with however, and my prayers were always for wisdom and truth, not money, success, career, etc. This is why the PSYOP19 (in 2023 now coming) works. Exactly because of people like him, who want the "truth," but only insofar as it doesn't disrupt his existing worldview too much.
