It think in many instances, it works the other way around. You ALWAYS know who your enemies are. Unfortunately, friends (not all, of course) will turn on you. Just look at what's happened since the Dictator Nut Job came on the scene. Many friendships have been destroyed due to supporting different politicians (republiCRAP/Democrat). In the past, there's always been some of that, but the Idiot in the Oval Office has really brought out the hate. Unfortunately, it has spread like wildfire thanks to that nazi/communist sitting in the Oval Office.
