Make money doing the work you believe in

Most PMs open Claude Chat. That’s 5% of the system.

Pawel Huryn and I mapped how we actually use Claude across a full workday. There are five surfaces, and each one solves a different problem at a different time.

Dispatch handles mobile. Walking to coffee, commuting, waiting in line. You open it, fire off three tasks in parallel, and they’re running before you sit down. ~35% of usage.

Code Web is a full VS Code instance in the cloud with GitHub connected. Deep work sessions where the laptop can go offline. Another ~35%.

Claude Code is the terminal agent with subagents, hooks, and local MCP scoping. Multi-file systems, HTML builds, anything that touches the codebase. ~25%.

Cowork runs files, emails, and daily knowledge work through MCP connectors and parallel agents. Daily use.

Chat is text-in, text-out. No files, no tools, no memory. Grammar checks. ~5%.

The PM who uses all five in the right context runs a compounding system. The PM who only uses Chat is using Google Docs as a calculator.

There’s a second layer most people miss: the difference between production automation and personal automation. n8n handles code logic, conditional branches, retry logic, hard access controls. It runs whether you’re paying attention or not. Claude Code handles text files interpreted by an agent where your judgment stays in the loop. Skills, knowledge bases, drafts. Systems that compound over time.

You need both. n8n for the things that should never break. Claude Code for the things that should keep getting better.

In 12 months, the PM role splits into three pieces. The Super IC PM who orchestrates agents across marketing, strategy, tech, product, and customers. The Automated Layer where tickets, debugging, presentations, release notes, and status updates run without human input. And What Survives: judgment, taste, customer empathy, strategy, knowing why something matters.

The PM doing the automated layer manually is the bottleneck.

Here’s how to build the system:

2. Claude Code tutorial: youtube.com/watch?v=4nt…

3. PM Operating System: news.aakashg.com/p/pm-os

4. N8N: news.aakashg.com/p/pawe…

5. Putting it all together: news.aakashg.com/p/ai-p…

The PM with a self-improving system will outperform five PMs who open a fresh Chat window every morning.
