The people most likely to resign work either:

  • No evenings/weekends (disengaged) or

  • Most (burn-out)

There's a crucial lesson here for managers: you shouldn't outlaw evening and weekend work.

In the ZIRP era, the employer friendly policy was to never work off-hours. But doing that actually encourages folks NOT to care.
