Recently Hadden Turner wrote an essay on the importance of dwelling with wisdom rather than collecting and rushing by it. He got me thinking about what it means to dwell and savor the moments of life that we so easily miss.
The result was this poem. Here’s the first stanza.
"I want to remember the
small moments hidden
under rocks where success is
measured in single digits."
