We’ve turned on paid subscriptions—but nothing’s changing for our readers. All of our content, including local news, political coverage, and deeper investigations will stay 100% free to read. Always.
We’re growing. That means we’ll be branching out into national stories, longform investigations, myths, legends, conspiracy breakdowns, and commentary that goes beyond Pennsylvania—but you won’t need to pay to access any of it.
You always own your intellectual property, mailing list, and subscriber payments. With full editorial control and no gatekeepers, you can do the work you most believe in.
sometimes i wonder how many versions of myself i’ve outgrown without even noticing. i look back at old photos and remember the thoughts i used to carry, the dreams i thought would save me. it’s strange how you can live inside yourself every day and still not realize you’re evolving. it’s only when you look back that you realize how far you’ve come, how many lives you’ve already lived in the same skin.
On CNBC today, Elizabeth Warren had to explain to anchor Sara Eisen that Congress can in fact take away Trump's tariffs authority, and also that America is not ruled by a king who can make laws by decree.
Jesus, that bobblehead is so stupid. I guess so many people have no idea how the government works. But if you're gonna go toe to toe with a respected senator, make sure you know a thing or two about the Constitution.
We have department store types of news coverage that look great and trendy but that’s all. News is there as filler between the ads. As Don Henley said “I just have to look good, I don’t have to be clear.”
For the reporters and journalists out there who care about the profession, I see you. It’s tough. Keep on truckin’.
She had to explain to a “news anchor’ how the 3 branches of government are supposed to work and each is bound to honor the Constitution……………. a”news anchor”….ya know that shit you learned in Civics Class in 10th Grade…. a “news anchor” smh. On CNBC….
Yep. I had civics in 9 th grade, English history in 10 th grade and American history in 12 th. You learn especially if you are a committed citizen. Sadly, we are in the cult of Barbies.
